We built this calculator to help property maintenance companies respond to supply chain surveys with their carbon emissions. We found, from working with the property portfolio holders, that supply chain surveys were not getting completed, as contractors didn’t have this information available.

We have designed this Carbon Calculator to be easy and simple for all companies to use. Please see below for the data you will need to input into the calculator:

(all data should be for the last 12 months)

• Energy data – kWh of gas and electric (if this data is not available, please provide the total area of your office(s) – we will estimate your energy)
• Total litres of fuel used (if you have the miles driven or £ spent, then read the instructions in the calculator on how to convert to litres)
• Total tonnes of materials used or, most likely, the total tonnes of waste produced (if this data is not available, press ‘unsure’ in the calculator – we will estimate it)

Once you input your data into the calculator and press ‘submit’, you will receive a Carbon Report via email, detailing your total estimated carbon emissions and instructions on how to apportion the emissions to your clients, for supply chain surveys.
